Conflicting Reports

Today's drive took me through the following neighborhood's:

Irvington, "The Vegan Quarter" - NE 12th and Stark, Reed College, Sellwood, Swan Island, Beaterville, and the Overlook Neighborhoods.

It has felt like snow coming on since last week. I lacked sunblock a couple of days ago for our only sunny day so far in June. I am still paying the price for that error with a sunburn that tightens my calves and tops of my feet any time I am still.

There were near whiteout conditions between LaGrande and Pendleton, Oregon. There is probably no chance of snow in the Portland area. Just feels like it.

I work on the Widmer side of the Fremont bridge. Looking west over the river to the hills reminds me of a miniture San Francisco. Way less commotion. Just the feeling of North Beach. The ever present fog and mist and foreverness.

The little house featured today is inhabited by a garden loving lady. I am fortunate to have this view across the street from my home. This little blue Monet cottage is beautiful in every season.

After work we gathered in the shop to work on the "Nacho Libra" - esque themed Adult Soap Box Derby Car. My contribution to the gathering was to order the pizza. Note to self: Cheap pizza has to be chosen wisely.

This blog entry brought to you by Sunburn Time. Go to bed early to recover from an excruciating past 48 hours... and wake up at 12:30 a.m. saying, "Hey, where's the party?"
